Role

RN in Oncology
Shift: Nights, 1900-0700
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48
Assignment length: 13 weeks
Number of openings: 1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Oncology experience within the last year
1 year of Oncology experience
Experience in an Inpatient setting
Med Surg experience
Driver's License
Experience and competence in drug titration
Chemo Certification
NIHSS, which may be submitted without but must be obtained prior to start
Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1-April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Qualifications

Med surg, oncology, infusion experience

Unit Details

Floor: Oncology 7A
23 beds
Patient ratio: 6:1, adjusted for certain chemotherapy regimens
Float: rotational basis within med surg cluster only

Some med surg overflow
Comfort care

Additional Notes
