Location

Asheville, North Carolina

Contract

13 weeks
Travel assignment
36 hours per week

Unit Overview

Emergency department with 101 beds
Typical patient ratio is 4:1 for medical patients; up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
No floating outside the ED, but must be open to floating to all sections within the ED
Every other weekend required
Scheduling must meet department needs; block scheduling is not available

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
Ability to work in all areas of the ED
Teamwork mentality
Ability to coach and give feedback in real time

Required Certifications

ACLS
BLS
PALS
TNCC
CPI
NIHSS
ENPC within 90 days of hire

Additional Notes

Previous HCA experience is preferred
Required uniform: navy scrubs
