Schedule

9A-9P
36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekend rotation every other weekend
Call may require push back hours depending on census

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
NIHSS
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

Experience in a fast-paced ED
Experience with strokes, STEMI’s, and trauma

Unit Details

Emergency Department
32 beds
Patient ratios: 1:4 to 1:5
Patient population: birth to death
Trauma is received in this area, though it does not designate a trauma level

Work Environment

Fast-paced setting
Critical care equipment used
Float support includes helping hands in areas where competencies apply

Additional Notes

Travelers must start on one of the listed orientation dates
Candidates must live 60 miles or greater away to be considered travel
