Work Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Social Worker scheduled 5 days a week, 8 hours per day

Unit Information

• Behavioral Health Unit (locked unit)
• 22 beds
• Patient ratios: Social Worker 10:1, RN 8:1
• Unit staffing: Two Social Workers scheduled five days a week; two days per week only one Social Worker on duty
• No floating for Behavioral Health Unit staff
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Procedures: No procedures performed on unit; may accompany patients off unit for ECT
• Dress code for Social Workers: Business casual

• Collaborative treatment team including psychiatric providers who are present and accessible on the unit

Required Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license in Idaho
• Minimum of 2 years of LMSW experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification required

Additional Notes

• No advanced skills required beyond licensure and experience
• Unit does not perform medical procedures
• Patient care includes treatment team participation and use of standardized assessments (e.g., PSA, PHQ9, BHA) and conducting two groups daily
