Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed

Job Description

Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy in a 50-bed acute rehabilitation hospital setting.
Treat patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries.
Deliver customized, individualized rehabilitation focused on maximizing health, function, and quality of life.
Patient population primarily adults with neuro, orthopedic, TBI, SCI, and cardio-pulmonary diagnoses.
Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7 depending on acuity.
Utilize specialized equipment including Smart Car, Vector, Lite Gait, Senaptec, TBI gym, transfer rooms, outdoor functional courtyard, with EKSO exoskeleton arriving in September.
Electronic Health Record system: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida

Scrub color: Green.
Report time on first day: 8:00 AM.
Parking available on-site (side or back of building).
No weekend hours required.
