Overview
- Location: Kirksville, Missouri

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- 1 year or more of total travel experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Role Expectations
- Care for patients across all acuity levels, including ESI 1-5
- Manage a typical 4-5:1 patient ratio
- Provide care for stroke, STEMI, trauma, and sepsis patients
- Perform emergency department clinical skills, including triage, PIV, port access/deaccess, Foley placement, NG/OG placement, wound care, and splint/OCL application
- Assist with arterial lines, central lines, and chest tube placement
- Support patient transport and respond to call lights
- Be willing to float to other departments when not needed in the ED
- Be willing to help precept in the future

- 36 hours per week
- No 48-hour weekly guarantees
- Level III trauma center
- 11-bed ED
- Average monthly ED volume: 1,100 patients
- Serves patients from neonates to elderly
