Overview
- Travel RN position in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
Setting and patient population
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
- 59-bed hospital
- 11 beds are in a locked neuro unit
- Cares for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injury, and other severe injuries or illnesses
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- Rehabilitation (1 year of experience)
- Rehabilitation experience within the last year
- Acute Care experience
Preferred experience
- Rehab or acute care experience
Work expectations
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6 to 1:7
- No call required
Additional notes
- Joint Commission certified
- Stroke and Brain Injury certified/programs
- CARF certified
