Position Overview

• Job Title: Radiation Therapist
• Employment Type: Travel

• Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 40 hours (guaranteed)
• Call Requirements: No call; workload may occasionally require extra hours
• Float Requirements: No floating
• Number of Openings: 1

Facility & Unit Information

• Regional health center providing a wide range of services including radiation oncology
• Patient population: Adults only (no children)
• Patient load: 15-24 patients on machines on average
• Equipment used: Varian TrueBeam, Identify, GE CT Scanner
• Physics coverage available 3 days per week
• Radiation oncologist and dosimetry support on site
• Assistance with chart checks expected

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (T) Certification (Radiation Therapist)
• BLS Certification
• Dosimetrist experience
