Unit Information

• Unit: Operating Room
• Number of Beds: 815
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Scheduling: Variable schedule, call required
• Floating Policy: May float to other departments
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided by facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience working with Level 1 and Level 2 Trauma patients
• Experience in surgical service lines including:

  • Robotics
  • Orthopedics
  • Plastic Surgery
  • Urology
  • Burn
  • Trauma
  • Neurosurgery
  • OB/GYN

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Candidates should be prepared for variable scheduling and possible floating to other departments
