Required Qualifications

Pediatrics (3 years of experience)
Pediatrics experience within the last year
Valid RN license in California
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Cerner

Relevant Experience / Knowledge

Knowledge or experience with Cerner EMR
Knowledge of advanced nursing theory, medical terminology, instruments and equipment, medication effects, medication administration, infection control, critical thinking, nursing judgment, and nursing techniques

Education

Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a bachelor’s or associate degree preferred

Additional Notes

Employees must maintain all health requirements designated by the employer
Depending on assignment, incumbents may be required to maintain specific certificates of competency as a condition of employment
