Description
Pediatric Registered Nurse
Location
- Bakersfield, California
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Day shift
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Pediatrics (3 years of experience)
- Pediatrics experience within the last year
- Valid RN license in California
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Cerner
Relevant Experience / Knowledge
- Knowledge or experience with Cerner EMR
- Knowledge of advanced nursing theory, medical terminology, instruments and equipment, medication effects, medication administration, infection control, critical thinking, nursing judgment, and nursing techniques
Education
- Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
Additional Notes
- Employees must maintain all health requirements designated by the employer
- Depending on assignment, incumbents may be required to maintain specific certificates of competency as a condition of employment
