    Pediatric Registered Nurse

    Location

    • Bakersfield, California

    Contract

    • 13 weeks
    • Day shift
    • 36 hours per week
    • 12-hour shifts

    Required Qualifications

    • Pediatrics (3 years of experience)
    • Pediatrics experience within the last year
    • Valid RN license in California
    • BLS issued by American Heart Association
    • PALS issued by American Heart Association
    • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
    • Experience with Cerner

    Relevant Experience / Knowledge

    • Knowledge or experience with Cerner EMR
    • Knowledge of advanced nursing theory, medical terminology, instruments and equipment, medication effects, medication administration, infection control, critical thinking, nursing judgment, and nursing techniques

    Education

    • Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a bachelor’s or associate degree preferred

    Additional Notes

    • Employees must maintain all health requirements designated by the employer
    • Depending on assignment, incumbents may be required to maintain specific certificates of competency as a condition of employment
