Job Opportunity: RN Stress Lab

Location

Elmira, New York

Employment Type

Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Job Description

Registered Nurse with mandatory telemetry experience.
Cardiovascular experience required.
Responsible for performing stress testing including:
- Plain treadmill stress test
- Nuclear stress test
- Stress echocardiogram
Cardiologists and Nuclear Med Techs are onsite to assist and read studies.
RN must learn and implement stress testing protocols.
Duties include starting IVs and administering Definity contrast.
Work schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Saturday call shift from 07:00 AM to 11:00 AM for inpatient studies alongside echo tech.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience totaling 5 years
Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Cardiology experience
