Job Description

• Registered Nurse with mandatory telemetry experience.
• Cardiovascular experience required.
• Responsible for performing stress testing including:

  • Plain treadmill stress test
  • Nuclear stress test
  • Stress echocardiogram
• Cardiologists and Nuclear Med Techs are onsite to assist and read studies.
• RN must learn and implement stress testing protocols.
• Duties include starting IVs and administering Definity contrast.
• Work schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Saturday call shift from 07:00 AM to 11:00 AM for inpatient studies alongside echo tech.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
• Minimum of 5 years of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• Cardiology experience.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
