PCU Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role for a registered nurse in a critical care stepdown setting
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Will float to CV stepdown and ICU overflow areas

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Florida
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Experience with Epic

Preferred

Epic charting experience

Compliance / Onboarding

Government-issued photo ID
Emergency contact form before start
Background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
HHS/OIG screening
AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance on file before start
Physical exam within 6 months of start
Fit test within 12 months of start
Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
10-panel drug screen including THC within 30 days of start
Flu vaccination or declination on file year-round
COVID-19 vaccination required before start; exemptions accepted
2 professional references within 3 years of start
Skills checklist annually
