Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Must be willing to participate in an "Emergency Team" as assigned by the unit manager, which may require staying at the facility during emergency events or serving as part of a relief team.
• Expected to float between Emergency Department (ED), inpatient main campus, outpatient, and nearby clinics.
• Experience required in ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
• Must work holidays if scheduled.
• Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (10:00 AM – 8:30 PM).

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Louisiana
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment as a CT Technologist
• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Experience with GE Healthcare imaging equipment

Additional Notes

• Candidates must apply for allied health licensure within 72 hours of signing the contract.
• Emergency preparedness checklist required during hurricane season (June 1 – Nov 30).
• Photo for badge must be uploaded within 24 hours of booking (passport-style, recent, plain background).
• Employment application and resume required, including 7 years of employment history and explanations for gaps.
• Must be comfortable with emergency event assignments as described.

This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with prior travel assignments who are flexible and able to work in multiple clinical settings including emergency and outpatient areas.
