• Patient population: Mixed acuity with drips and titrations
• Float assignment: Emergency department at a freestanding campus

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 24 months of Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment within the previous 18 months
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic

Preferred / additional information

• CPI, MOAB, MAB, or SAMA de-escalation certification is preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is nice to have and can be obtained during onboarding
• Must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
• Orientation dates: 9/21 and 9/28
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver’s license
• Past employees of the health system may be restricted from travel assignments based on prior employment status and timing
