Required Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
BLS certification
ICU/Intermediate (Stepdown) experience with 3:1 or 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratios
Trach and ventilator experience

Assignment Details

Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
First to float as needed
No call or standby requirement
Titrates drips
Uses bedside monitors
EPIC orientation is included

Unit Details

20-bed stepdown unit
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 3:1
Charge nurse is available each shift
2 patient care techs per shift
Common patient population includes respiratory, cardiac, renal, diabetic, sepsis, neuro, surgical, and withdrawal cases

Additional Notes

Drug screen required
Requested time off and the last four digits of SSN are needed for submission
Middle initial is needed for submission
