Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Location: Twin Falls, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Seeking a CT Technologist to work primarily in the CT Scan department. The role involves operating 2 out of 3 CT scanners to perform a variety of imaging studies including stroke (CVA), chest, abdomen, pelvis, trauma, cardiac aiding studies, and occasionally pediatrics and special needs patients. No interventional radiology procedures are required.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Majority of shifts are 10 hours, with tech overlap in the mornings starting between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM.
- Night shift coverage is from approximately 3:30 AM to 6:00 AM, often working alone during this time.
- Weekend shifts may be 12 hours depending on contract needs.
- Holiday staffing is reduced; time off details discussed during interview.
- Scrubs provided in Caribbean Blue color.
- Up to 3 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation provided.
- Floating/coverage includes entire hospital, emergency room, and outpatient areas.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification in CT (Computed Tomography)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one prior CT travel assignment
Additional Information
- Average scans per shift: 10-15.
- Use of EMR/PACS systems: EPIC and McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS.
- Radiologist available in-house during the day; after hours coverage via teleradiology.
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) used.
This position requires adherence to a 50-mile radius rule from the candidate’s permanent address.
