Job Opportunity: Critical Care Float Pool Nurse

Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide primary care for ER, ICU, and PACU patients.
• May float to other nursing units to assist (not as a primary nurse).
• Duties include expediting on other floors, patient sitting, transport assistance, telemetry monitoring.
• Participate as a member of the rapid response and code blue teams as needed.
• Work 12-hour shifts during evenings and nights, totaling 72-80 hours per two weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Hawaii
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience within the last year
• Emergency Department (ED) experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
