Number of Beds: 84
Number of Staff: 160 (including Charge CNC Nurse, RN, Unit Secretaries, Respiratory Therapists)
Patient Ratios:
- NICU: 2:1
- NSCU: 3:1
Equipment Used: Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager, Philips and GE ECG monitors
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Neonatal Notes Manager / Meditech

Valid RN license in Kansas
Minimum 1 year of recent Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience within the last year
Acute care experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

IV therapy
Whole Body Cooling
Surgical cases including NEC (Necrotizing Enterocolitis), PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus), CVC (Central Venous Catheter)
PDA ligations
High Frequency Ventilation
Chest tube management

This is a seasonal travel RN position on a 7 AM to 7 PM shift
The unit is equipped with advanced neonatal technology and staffed by experienced professionals
