Overview

  • Travel RN position in Colorado
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cardiac experience
  • ICU experience
  • NIH certification
  • Prior Meditech experience

Unit Details

  • 45-bed medical unit
  • Typical staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, and 4-5 MSTs on both day and night shifts
  • Patient ratio is 4-5 on days and nights
  • Common equipment includes lifts, dynamap, and cardiac monitoring equipment

Common Procedures / Patient Care

  • Cardiac drips and cardiac catheters
  • Chest tube management
  • Wound care
  • TPN/lipids
