Job Overview

• Work in a PET/Nuclear Medicine unit within a 321-bed hospital.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour shifts; start times may vary by an hour).
• On-call requirements: 1 weekday call and weekend call every 4th or 5th weekend.
• Potential to rotate to other shifts based on staffing needs.
• Unit uses GE Discovery 630 and GE Infinia equipment, Xeleris 5 software, and GE 8-slice PET CT scanner.
• Documentation system: Meditech.
• Dress code: Gray scrubs.
• Patient experience training required: AIDET.

Procedures Performed

• Nuclear Medicine: Nuclear Stress Test, Cardiac Amyloidosis, MUGA, Parathyroid scans, V/Q with pulmonex, GI Bleed, Hida, Gastric Emptying, Bone Scans, DaTscans, Brain Flow, Renogram, Thyroid Uptake and Scan, Cisternograms.
• PET CT: Oncology, prostate, and amyvid PET scans.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in South Carolina.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, with experience within the last year.
