Schedule and assignment details

Client is open to either a 3x12 or 4x12 schedule
On-call: 36 hours every 6 weeks
Weekend requirement: every other weekend or 2 weekends per month
Float required
Nurse-patient ratio: 1:2

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP
AWHONN

Experience and screening

7-year work history required
2 supervisory references required
Unit-specific skills checklist within the last year required
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required
Competency exam required
Core Part I, II, and III required
Color blind testing required within 12 months prior to start
Physical exam required within 12 months of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
Drug testing required within 45 days of start
Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for starts between 9/1 and 4/1

Additional notes

Travelers requesting time off during listed holidays or holiday weeks will not be accommodated
Local candidates are paid less than travelers
Driver’s license or state ID is required
Passport-style photo required for badge
Background check and onboarding documents are required
