Pediatric Dietitian
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Baltimore, Maryland
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Start date: 09/14/26
Required Qualifications
- Valid RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist license in Maryland
- RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (2 years of experience)
- RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist experience within the last year
- Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field, or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field if CDR exam was passed prior to January 1, 2024, with completion of required coursework and Dietetic Internship
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
Schedule and Work Setting
- Monday through Friday block schedule
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient nutrition care
- Responsibilities include assessing nutritional status, developing medical nutrition therapy care plans, providing nutrition counseling and education, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, and documenting in the medical record
- May be required to float to another campus until 10/8/26
- Holidays are required as scheduled
- Weekends and on-call are not required
Patient Population
- Pediatric patients with complex diagnoses
- Inpatient and outpatient nutrition support
- May include patients with GI complications, short gut, TPN needs, post-trauma recovery, and infants on tube feeds transitioning to oral intake
