Overview
- Travel/contract RN assignment in Seattle, Washington
- 15 weeks
- Night shift: 3x12s, 19:00–07:30
- Ratio: 1:4–5
- Unit scope includes the acute care float pool and telemetry units, including Behavioral Health and Respite
- Float scope: may float within scope to meet facility needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of float experience
- Float experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Orthopedics experience
- Stroke experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Facility prefers to avoid travel pairs
Additional Notes
- Epic charting
- Locals are accepted
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
- On-site parking is available for a fee
- Any solid color scrubs are allowed; light blue scrubs are also provided on unit
- Orientation includes a pass/fail fill-in-the-blank test
- The role requires good time management because the 12-hour shift may be split into 8 hours in one area and 4 hours in another
- Experience with Ortho/Neuro-Stroke and Cardiac Tele is required
