Ultrasound Tech - General

Location

Wilmington, North Carolina

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • Travel/contract assignment

Schedule

  • 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • No call, no weekends, no float

Setting

  • Outpatient maternal-fetal medicine / high-risk obstetrics ultrasound
  • Adolescent and adult patients

Required Qualifications

  • Ultrasound Technologist with 2 years of experience
  • Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ARDMS
  • BLS
  • Experience working with High Risk patients
  • Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
  • Experience in an Outpatient setting
  • Abdominal Aorta and Appendix ultrasound
  • 1st-3rd Trimester obstetric ultrasound
  • Amniotic fluid index assessment
  • Fetal Anatomical Survey
  • Placenta Previa scanning
  • Neonatal Head ultrasound
  • Neonatal Heart ultrasound
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Skills

  • Portables
  • Liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, and spleen ultrasound
  • Amniocentesis
  • Bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, renal/bladder, uterus, vaginal, breast cyst aspiration, breast ultrasound, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, and thyroid imaging

Additional Notes

  • RTO after booking is not allowed
  • Scrubs are royal blue and not provided
  • Orientation is 40 hours and attendance is required in full
  • Start date may vary based on class and trainer availability
