Job Overview

• Location: Rochester, New York
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required within skillset
• Local candidate radius: Must live within 75 miles
• Patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:7

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Clinical Focus

• PCU nursing
• Ability to manage cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• IV therapy and phlebotomy
• Respiratory support including oxygen delivery and non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions
• Stroke and neurological patient care

Additional Notes

• EPIC experience is required
• Government-issued photo ID is required
• Background check and pre-employment compliance requirements apply
• Health screening and immunization documentation are required before start
