Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• BLS
• LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (1 year of experience)
• LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience within the last year

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient/family education
• Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
• Develop and revise plans of care based on patient needs and responses
• Administer medications, perform procedures such as wound care and IV therapy, and use medical equipment and technology
• Communicate changes in patient condition and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Support patient discharge planning and teaching
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and patient satisfaction activities
• Mentor staff and nursing students and help orient new staff
