Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift contract requiring BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM certifications and two years of acute care experience.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- 12-hour shifts, three days per week
- Every other weekend required
Requirements
- Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications required (EFM may be AWHONN but must not be in place more than 1 year)
- Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient and family centered care for Labor & Delivery patients
- Supervise and mentor licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Facilitate patient and family education throughout stay and at discharge
- Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize multidisciplinary resources
- Promote a safe, clean, and secure patient care environment
