RN Endoscopy

Location

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Set day off
Call required 2–3 days per month

Required Qualifications

1 year of experience
1 year of endoscopy experience
Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license
Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced/interventional endoscopy experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a board-approved program

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for patients with a range of health problems
Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
Document patient responses and changes in physician orders
Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatment
Monitor patient physiological data and intervene when necessary
Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
Communicate care plans and discharge information to patients and families
Make referrals for patient care needs
Delegate tasks to support staff
