Overview

Location: Denver, Colorado
Schedule: Day shift, 4x9s, weekdays
Hours: 36 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
On-call: Required
Floating: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
BLS Certification issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
ACLS, NRP, and PALS as appropriate for the unit or service

Role Summary

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
Provides health teaching and counseling
Supports therapy and treatment, including delegated medical functions
Refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
