MRI Technologist - Arizona

Job Description

• Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic cross-sectional images for radiologist review.
• Assess and interpret patient data relative to age-specific needs and principles of growth and development across the lifespan.
• Manage patient flow and make decisions to maximize operational efficiency.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Provide excellent customer service with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Utilize technical competence with general radiographic equipment and procedures.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and completion of MRI-related courses preferred.

Location & Schedule

• Location: Phoenix, Arizona
• Worksite includes both outpatient and inpatient settings at the main hospital campus.
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (4/10s), including weekends.
• Weekend hours: Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Weekday hours (starting 2/23 for approximately 6 months): Monday and Tuesday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience within the last year.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification valid at start of employment and maintained thereafter.
• Experience as a Radiology Technician or in Nuclear Medicine.
