Job Description

Work in a 65-bed Emergency Department with pod-based design, including separate pediatric and acute mental health areas.
Patient population: All ages.
Average census: 230 visits per day.
Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights (Day Rotate shifts: 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a) with rotation frequency low; night position does not rotate.
Floating to other units may be required.
Clinician to patient ratio: 1:4.
Work schedule: 36 hours per week.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification
PALS certification
TNCC certification
