Job Description
- Work in a 65-bed Emergency Department with pod-based design, including separate pediatric and acute mental health areas.
- Patient population: All ages.
- Average census: 230 visits per day.
- Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights (Day Rotate shifts: 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a) with rotation frequency low; night position does not rotate.
- Floating to other units may be required.
- Clinician to patient ratio: 1:4.
- Work schedule: 36 hours per week.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- TNCC certification
