Role Overview

ICU Float Pool RN
Travel/Contract
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
First-timers accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
Stepdown experience
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Every other weekend availability

Travelers float between 2 campuses and may float to 5 ICU specialties and step-down units as needed
Must float to a pulmonary stepdown unit with 1:3 ratios
Block scheduling is not accommodated
On-call is not required
RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
