Job Overview

• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
• Scheduling note: Manager is open to 3x12s or 4x12s

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Louisiana
• Respiratory Therapist with 2 years of experience
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

• First-time travelers are accepted

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Current valid driver’s license, state ID, or government photo ID
• Resume/application
• Skills checklist
• Competency exam completed within 1 year of start and scoring at least 80%
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit testing within 1 year of start
• TB screening within 12 months of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Tdap vaccination
• CLEAR enrollment for workforce access
• Background check and required exclusion/sanction screenings
• Employment history with explanation for gaps

Additional Notes

• Candidate may be assigned to an emergency team during an emergency event and may be expected to remain at the facility or serve on the relief team until the event passes
• Epic experience is preferred
