Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Johnson City, Tennessee
• Day shift: 4x12 hours, 6:30–19:00
• 13-week contract
• No call
• Floating required
• Schedules available: 36/36, 36/48, and 48/48
• Traveler must live 100 miles or more from the hospital’s service area

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience

Preferred

• 2 references are accepted, with 3 preferred

Additional Notes

• General orientation begins on Sundays and includes online CBLs
• 16 hours of nonbillable orientation
• The hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
• Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed for census or resource needs without penalty
• Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
