Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Travel/Contract)

Location: Tyler, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Unit Focus: Orthopedic Trauma and Total Joint Replacement experience required
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 6 patients
Unit Size: 36 beds
Charting System: Epic

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
Orthopedic Trauma experience
Total Joint Replacement experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferences

Previous travel nursing experience preferred (not mandatory)

Candidates residing in the following Texas counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
