Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

Job Summary

Provide nursing care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to patient care, teaching patients and their families, documenting care in the medical record, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
• Minimum of 3 years of Intermediate Care experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

• Flexibility to prioritize and adapt to rapidly changing patient and unit needs
• Effective teaching skills
• Ability to respond effectively to patient crisis/emergency situations
• Proficient computer skills, including electronic medical record documentation
• Consistent and punctual attendance
