Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Employment Type: Clinical Specialist/Professional
Job Description
- Provide respiratory therapy services under general supervision for all appropriate age levels and areas served by the department.
- Administer therapeutic treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
- Record treatment information and patient responses in computerized medical records.
- Serve as a resource to medical staff.
- Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and patient monitoring.
- Provide age-appropriate care to patients.
- Ensure respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained.
- Maintain respiratory therapy records.
- Participate as a member of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year.
- Experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
