Registered Nurse - Progressive Care / Intermediate Care

Location: Rockford, Illinois
Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Every third weekend and rotating holidays
Contract Length: 9 weeks

Unit Description

Progressive Care Unit caring for cardiac patients including open heart surgery, TAVR, Watchman, and post-cardiac procedure patients.
One pod with 8 patients classified as Intermediate Care (IMC).
Patient conditions include new BiPAP, DKA, CIWA, and patients requiring titration of drips.

Required Qualifications

Current RN license.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
No RQI certifications accepted.

Experience

Specialty experience in progressive/intermediate care nursing with cardiac patient populations is implied; no explicit years of experience stated.

Additional Notes

Night shift with a focus on critical cardiac and intermediate care patients.
