Overview

Location: Rockford, Illinois
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 36 per week
Unit: Cath Lab Tech
6 suites/labs
About 18 cases per day on average

Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist (3 years of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT (R)
Experience working with STEMI patients
Experience working with Neuro patients
Experience with STEMI intervention scrubbing and circulating

Job Duties

Scrubbing
Monitoring
Circulating
High risk coronary intervention and STEMI intervention scrubbing

Schedule and Call

5 x 8-hour days per week, with 0700 or 0830 start time as assigned
4 weekends (Sat/Sun) in the 13-week assignment
Call required
Call response time: 30 minutes

Floating

May float to EP/IR

Additional Details

Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
Scrubs provided
5 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation in the first week
Drug screen required
