Job Overview

• Contract RN position in Clarkston, Washington
• Day shift
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience

Role Responsibilities

• Provide patient education using appropriate education methods
• Support patient safety using preventative measures and follow restraint policy
• Operate equipment safely in PCU, telemetry, and MedSurg areas
• Troubleshoot equipment and access manuals as needed
• Follow infection control, isolation, and standard precautions procedures
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and charge documentation
• Complete physician orders in a timely manner, including the 24-hour order check when applicable
• Give complete shift reports and communicate accurately with other departments
• Report critical lab values to the physician according to policy
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, room supplies, and general supplies
