Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Overview

• Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
• Hours per week: 40
• Call: Required, 9–10 days per month
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Administer medications and perform sterilization techniques.
• Assist the physician with cardiovascular studies/interventions and special procedure studies/interventions.
• Serve as the patient advocate during procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Arkansas
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or MSN
