Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Auburn, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in this specialty
Must have a valid New York RN license in hand before starting
Return to Office (RTO) is required prior to submission; late submissions will not be approved

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

Nurses are responsible for independently measuring and interpreting telemetry strips for all telemetry patients under their care, as telemetry technicians are not employed by the facility
If the initial telemetry assessment is not passed, remediation and retesting will be provided during the first week of the contract

This position is ideal for experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses seeking a travel contract in New York with night shift availability.
