Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Frederick, Maryland.
- Night shift: 3x12s, 19:00–7:30.
- Rotating holidays and weekends.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Unit Information
- Full service Level III NICU.
- 30-bed unit with an average daily census of about 10 babies.
- Cares for extremely low birth weight babies as low as 24 weeks gestation and 500 grams.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland.
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience).
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense.
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience working with NICU Level 3 or NICU Level 4 patients.
Preferred Qualifications
- STABLE.
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have Level III or higher NICU experience.
Float Scope
- May float to NAN, DRAN, or the baby module in the Family Center.
Schedule Notes
- Must work the following dates:
- Week of 12/20: 12/23, 12/24, 12/26
- Week of 12/27: 12/27, 12/28, 12/29 if able to work 4 in a row; otherwise 12/28, 12/29, and one other shift that week.
