• 13 weeks

Overview

Provides hospital-based nursing care for patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Tracheostomy care experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ICU experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a Board Approved Program

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses and changes in physician orders
• Assist with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatment
• Monitor patient data and intervene as needed
• Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
• Coordinate care with patients, families, and support staff
