Job Description

Seeking an experienced Home Health Physical Therapist for a travel contract. The role involves providing care in a home-based setting within an assigned geographical region. The position requires flexibility with shifts, primarily Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with weekend coverage every third weekend and minor holiday work as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Physical Therapy
• Active California Physical Therapy License
• Current BLS Certification
• Experience with Oasis documentation (government-mandated form)
• Home health experience preferred but not required

Work Environment & Additional Information

• Work primarily involves orthopedic, stroke, joint, and spinal injury patients
• Orientation period of 1.5 to 2 weeks
• Business attire with white lab coat required; no jeans
• Use of Cerner EMR system
• Rehab aides and assistants typically permanent staff
• Flexible 8-hour shifts, mostly weekdays
