Schedule

Day shift
10-hour shifts
40 hours per week
7 call shifts over a 6-week period
3 weekend shifts and 4 weekday shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS
PALS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

CNOR certification

Key Responsibilities

Scrub and/or circulate for operative procedures
Prepare the operating room for patients and surgical procedures
Assemble equipment and supplies and confirm they are functional and available
Coordinate with the surgical team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative care
Serve as a communication liaison for patients, families, and the operating team
Follow aseptic techniques and department admission procedures
