Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License

Job responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team members
• Provide nursing interventions aligned with the plan of care and physician orders
• Verify the Safe Surgery checklist
• Document care accurately and promptly
• Use health and safety equipment appropriately
• Prep the operating room and position the patient on the operating table
• Serve as liaison to family and the operating team
• Assist with supply and equipment control
• Perform circulating duties
• Participate in assigned call as scheduled

• Computer skills are needed for patient care-related programs
• Sterile field duties may be required depending on assignment setting
• References are preferred but not required
