Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Long-Term Assignment

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Shift: Night shift, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, every other weekend
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for a night shift position on a long-term assignment. The role involves performing laboratory testing and related duties during overnight hours.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year Radiology Technician experience within the last year
• Medical Laboratory Technician experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

Candidates must provide documentation and complete the following prior to or at onboarding:

• Health and Immunizations:

  • Fit Test
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening
  • COVID-19 vaccine proof including booster or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
  • MMR vaccination proof or IgG titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series initiated prior to start (titers not accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine proof or declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL) for current flu season
  • Varicella vaccination proof or IgG titer
  • Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work within the last year
  • Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)

• Background and Verification:

  • Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering the last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start
  • Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion checks dated within 30 days
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
  • Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement
  • Code of Conduct Form
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form signed shortly before start
  • Standard I9 form completed by the agency
  • System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start

• Testing and Exams:

  • Trinity Joint Commission CORE Exam within the past year
  • Specialty-specific competency exam within the past year
  • Trinity Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)

• License Verification:

  • Online license/certification verification dated within 30 days of start (state verification preferred)

• Additional:

  • Trinity Color Vision test

• This is a night shift position requiring availability for every other weekend.
